傑城華美文化協會(JCCA) 〈新聞稿〉
各位親愛的鄉親 大家好！
二○○九年八月八日，莫拉克颱風帶來強風豪雨襲捲南台灣，造成重大災情。
有人沒了家園、有人沒了親人、有人至今仍失聯，土石流掩埋了整個村落，
道路柔腸寸斷，通訊完全中斷，救援十分困難，災情實在慘重。
傑城華美文化協會(JCCA)為了略盡棉薄之力，擬展開各項賑濟募款活動，
懇請各位鄉親好友慷慨解囊、共襄盛舉，踴躍加入賑災行列，協助災民早日重建家園。
捐贈善款可透過協會(JCCA)代收彙整總捐款後，再轉致“駐邁阿密台北經濟文化辦事處”
並轉交中華民國內政部賑災專戶。
其方式及程序如下：
以個人支票、匯票或銀行支票捐贈
請開立以 JCCA為受款人之個人支票、匯票或銀行支票函寄至協會
(11981 Harbour Cove Dr. S. Jacksonville, FL 32225-3667
或 P.O.Box 351597 Jacksonville, FL 32235-1597)，
捐款用途請註明為“莫拉克颱風救災專用款”，並詳載捐贈人姓名、地址及聯絡電話，
俾便協會製發代收捐款收據(附有協會EIN)，以利鄉親將來列報免稅額之用。
以現金捐贈
請將捐款掛號郵寄或送至協會(11981 Harbour Cove Dr. S. Jacksonville, FL 32225-3667
或 P.O.Box 351597 Jacksonville, FL 32235-1597)，
協會將製發代收捐款收據(附有協會EIN)，以利鄉親將來列報免稅額之用。

If you have been thinking of clearing space on your bookshelf for some time,
you have a noble reason to do it now.
Ling Tung University in Taichung, Taiwan is looking for donations of English
books to help their students further their skills in their specialty studies.
